Waterfall wedding venue FAQ

Questions couples ask before touring.

Does Longan’s Place have a waterfall ceremony setting?

Yes. The pond-side ceremony setting is framed by tropical landscaping and a waterfall feature in Miami’s Redland. It is separate from the tiered fountain used for additional portraits.

Can our ceremony and reception happen at the same venue?

Yes. Depending on your package and event plan, your ceremony, portraits, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing can all take place on the same private Longan’s Place property.

What wedding sizes can Longan’s Place host?

Options include Ceremony Only for 2 to 50 guests, Petite Weddings for up to 20 guests, Micro Weddings for 10 to 40 guests, and full weddings for up to 180 guests, depending on layout and availability.

What happens if it rains?

If weather prevents the waterfall ceremony from taking place outdoors, the ceremony moves inside the fully air-conditioned barn at no additional fee. Cocktail hour continues under the tiki/pavilion, dinner continues under the large open-air tiki, and dancing continues inside the barn as planned.

How do we check dates and schedule a tour?

Start with the public calendar, then choose a private venue-tour appointment. Tours do not reserve dates. A proposal and accepted invoice are used to move forward with booking.

Picture the whole celebration

Your ceremony is only the beginning.

Choose a waterfall wedding venue for the setting, then make sure the rest of the day feels right for your guests too.

Cocktails, dinner, and dancing

Cocktail hour takes place under the tiki or pavilion, dinner under the large open air tiki, and dancing inside the fully air conditioned barn. Walk that route during your tour so you can picture each transition.

A specific ceremony rain plan

If weather prevents the outdoor waterfall ceremony, the ceremony moves inside the fully air conditioned barn at no additional fee. Cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing continue in their planned locations. Ask the team how the weather decision and guest directions are coordinated.

Make the setting your own

The waterfall ceremony feature is separate from the tiered portrait fountain. Ask to see both on your tour. Ceremony decorations, personal flowers, photography, video, and an officiant are not included in the wedding packages, so plan these separately rather than assuming a gallery design comes with the venue.
