Couples searching in Homestead often want the best of South Miami-Dade: room to celebrate, tropical greenery, and a location that still feels close to home. Longan’s Place is at 15255 SW 200th Street in Miami’s Redland, near Homestead, Florida City, Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, and Kendall.

The venue is one private property with a pond-side garden ceremony setting and a covered tiki-hut reception space. Longan’s hosts celebrations from Ceremony Only and Petite weddings to full weddings for as many as 180 guests. The right package depends on the guest count, event day, and services a couple wants included.

The useful question is not whether a venue calls itself all-inclusive. It is what your chosen package includes in writing.

01

What the setting actually looks like

The ceremony area sits beside a pond and waterfall feature, surrounded by palms and dense tropical landscaping. A stone aisle leads toward the circular dock, and the reception area is nearby on the same property.

That short transition matters. Guests can move from vows to the reception without driving to a second address, while the gardens, bridge, and separate tiered fountain give photographers several portrait settings.

Wedding options for different guest lists

Longan’s offers more than one kind of wedding. Ceremony Only is designed for 2 to 50 guests. Petite weddings are for up to 20 guests, while Micro Weddings are for 10 to 40 guests; both intimate reception packages are offered Monday through Thursday on available dates. Full wedding packages can accommodate up to 180 guests.

Package inclusions vary. A lower-priced full wedding package is intentionally simpler than the Signature All-Inclusive option, so couples should compare the written inclusions rather than assume every service appears in every tier.

Ceremony Only

A ceremony option for 2 to 50 guests.

Petite & Micro

Intimate weekday ceremony-and-reception packages for up to 20 or 10 to 40 guests.

Full Weddings

Four package levels for celebrations of up to 180 guests.

03

What is included, and what is not

Full wedding pricing combines the venue rental for the selected day with a per-person package. The four package levels are $55, $65, $75, and $85 per guest. Every price also adds an 18% service charge and 7% Florida sales tax.

Alcohol, photography and video, an officiant, personal flowers such as bouquets and boutonnieres, and ceremony-area decorations are not included in any Longan’s package. Other services depend on the package selected, which is why the proposal matters more than a broad label.

How to compare dates before booking

A date can shape both availability and price. Full wedding venue rental ranges from $5,500 Monday through Thursday to $7,500 on Saturday, before the per-person package, service charge, and tax. Guest minimums also vary by day.

Check the public calendar for a first look, then request a proposal for the actual date and guest count. A private tour is the best time to walk the ceremony-to-reception route, discuss the rain plan for the intended layout, and confirm every inclusion in writing.
